Joined way to many new programs.

Discovered some new tools.

Met a lot of really cool people, and picked up a few more subscribers.

Now, I can only hope that there are a couple thousand new followers that I don’t know about waiting for me to write the next great blog post. ..yeah, whatever

Since I’m on the topic of “Subscribers”. Can you guys ( and gals ) please tell me if being Registered here does anything for you? Are you getting something in your email saying “check it out!! Phil’s doing stuff to his blog”.. I really don’t want anyone to register if it means nothing.

Anyways, let me know.. I might have to tweak something, turn something on, or **gasp** learn something new. Otherwise I might just turn the register feature off..

Where was I. Oh yeah. Updates for the week.

Twitter…So a couple weeks ago I started a Twitter account. It really is a great resource for us blog / website folks. Not only am I able to have my blog URL in my profile but I get to give updates whenever I feel like it. Hell, why even bother subscribing to this blog. Just follow me on Twitter if you want to know what I’m up to. Warning though. If you use Twitter to spam me, I will be more than happy to unfollow you. I really don’t care to have a crap load of followers who just post updates that say “I just got a Free IPhone …link” .. So if your going to follow me, or anyone else.. please don’t be a dick head, buy ad space like the rest of us… and use twitter responsibly.

Instant Banner Creator … So in my ever growing need to be more creative with my promotional efforts. I decided to purchase the monthly subscription ( $9.97 ) to Instant Banner Creator.

I encourage everyone who has a blog, website or just promotes other programs, to at least get the free account. You won’t get all the cool features that us “bad ass paying members” get, but at least you’ll get to play around and make some cool banners for yourself.

Oh one more thing about signing up for a “Free Account”. The first page you see when joining, is a Looooonngg sales page about how buying a lifetime membership will make you a super cool marketing guru ( or something ). The cost is $147 for life. If you can afford it, I say go for it..my paypal account will appreciate it.. Otherwise, when you go to the very bottom of the page to click “No Thanks”, the next page will be the $9.97 a month subscription. This is the membership I took advantage of. After that page, I believe your going to get the “Fine!! be a loser. Here’s your free account” page.

Okay, I’ll move on.
