You Will Not Get Rich From This Blog

Ya know I don’t think I’ve slept this much in ten years. In fact, I can promise you; I haven’t slept this much in Ten Years.

This round of the flu has kicked my butt pretty hard. Although I’ve been 101 temperature free for the last week, getting back to normal has been a process. Basically, I’ve just wanted to sleep a lot. Which is weird for me since I usually function pretty well on just four to five hours of shut eye a day.

I’m getting back to normal and starting to feel more like my usual self.

There’s quite a few things I wanted to talk about this week so let’s do a quick Update!!

ClixSense – Jim ( owner of CS ) stopped by this blog last week to say Hi and correct some misinformation that I was sharing. Apparently I was mistaken about “paid emails” possibly being part of the NEW and Improved ClixSense. I swear I read this in more than one of Jim’s updates and I never would have announced it if I hadn’t believed it to be true. Anyways, I have removed that paragraph from this post.

Since I had Jim’s attention I also asked about possible advertising increases. He replied with; Hi Phil, the ad rates will go up but not as much as the “Other” ptc sites. We will still be cheaper. The increase is to cover the cost of the click commissions. We will also offer 3 different ad types. There will be a 15, 30 and 50 second ad types. Each ad will pay a different amount and also each will have different downline click commissions.

I for one am super excited about the new and revamped ClixSense. Although I’m not all that thrilled about my ad budget taking a hit, I’m sure the increase in referral commissions will more than make up for it.

Schnaap Klicks – After a slow start back in December and less than thrilling ad results. Things have picked up for me and my referrals did indeed wake up a bit in the new year. Still not as much as I’d hoped but Schnaap has become another weekly payday for me. So far every payout request has been paid within a couple hours, and yes I have seen quite a few five cent and three cent ads.

GetBuxToday – The biggest PTC launch this year was of course not exempt from a few problems. With over 30,000 new members in two weeks, this is not surprising. I was surprised however when Brian implemented “Instant” cash outs so early in the game. Payments were taking off line several times a day and a lot of us couldn’t cash out for a couple days. I honestly wasn’t worried and just waited my turn to be paid. Unlike many others in the GBT Forum who whined non stop.

Anyways, Payments are now set at Manual again and Brian is processing these within 24 hours. A very smart move in my opinion and in the first two weeks ( has it been two weeks already? ) I’ve been paid $164.00.

Paid The Fastest – Has really become one of my favorite little Incentivized ( GPT ) sites. The minimum cash out is $1 every twenty four hours and daily clicks have been back for awhile now. Currently there are four two cent daily clicks, but I’ve seen point clicks thrown in from time to time. Bottom line…THIS IS FREE MONEY!!

PTF also added Black Jack about a month ago. I’ve played quite a few hands and I have to keep reminding myself that I sorta suck at black jack. Still I like to hop in and play a hand or two. Some days I walk away with a few more points, some days a few less ; ).

…..and that’s all that matters to me this morning. I hope everyone is in good health and gearing up for warmer weather. I for one have been ready for summer since, um, well… since Summer. Bring it On!!

Although I don’t do a ton of social networking ( except email and comment replies ), I’ll pop in once in awhile.

To say I was sleeping during the first week of Brain Rooney’s surprise launch of his new PTC, “GetBuxToday” would not be at all inaccurate.

After receiving a message from Brian that the new site was live I immediately jumped in; I think I was the 47th member or something.

I wrote a quick post as I was clicking the first set of ads, and as soon as I woke up the next morning I put together a simple splash page and placed a 1000 hit ad on ClixSense before work. Checking my stat’s at break blew me away! Not only did I pick up 45 referrals, but my earnings were already over $10. The day ended at $16.90 and 61 referrals ( I’ll show earnings in a second ).

My intention was to write a follow up post a couple days later. Unfortunately, the Flu my kids were suffering from, also hit me pretty hard. So my motivation this week was more about me being curled up on the couch and feeling miserable and less about getting a follow up post up. You guys understand, right?

I pretty much did the bare minimum this week.

So to say I slept through Brian’s new PTC launch is pretty accurate.

Although I did muster enough strength to keep an ad up everyday on ClixSense, and bring in 147 referrals in one week. Of course this has a monetary value attached and I’m very happy with my first weeks earnings.

There was no doubt in my mind that GetBuxToday would get off to a roaring start. Brian Rooney is a respected and longstanding marketer and businessman ( Traffic Wave / TOAN ) who knows how to run a business. So most of us who’ve been around awhile jumped in with little doubt. Although, even Brian was a bit shocked by GBT’s rapid rise.

Over 20,000 Members in it’s first week!! I’d say a pretty amazing start for any new program in it’s first week, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see 100,000 in the first month; anyone wanna place a bet?

Anyways…..

Right off the bat Brian has provided plenty of ads to click on. Not sure how long he will keep these up. One of my concerns for any program is too many admin ads and not enough advertisers ads. I’m sure Brian has this under control and knows exactly what his daily expenses are, but I’d still like to see more “other than admin ads” to click on. In time, I’m sure this will pick up significantly. Click values are set at .01 to .015.

Upgrade Options and Additional Referral Earnings

There are three options for upgrading and potential earnings go’s up the higher your upgrade level. Of course GetBuxToday is Free to join and earn, but being upgraded and getting out there and referring for new members is the quickest way to increase our earnings.

Brian gave away 5000 platinum upgrades ( for 30 days ) in the first two days. I was one of the lucky one’s to grab one of these and you can bet I’ll keep this upgrade going. I always like the option of choosing how long my upgrade is going to last; although I’m already planning to extend for the year, there are monthly options as well.

Referral commissions for upgrades are set as high as 10%. Not significant but still great news considering I have over 60 referrals who currently have the Free Platinum Upgrade and I’m sure a few of those are going to purchase further upgrades after there Free trial. So ChaChing for me.

So in closing keep in mind. GetBuxTodayy is going to go through some growing pains. There have already been a number of issues and challenges and each have been met and dealt with in the course of a short period of time. Brain is doing a fantastic job of both dealing with issues and being his own moderator in the forums.

If you’ve followed me for any length of time you know I’m not about announcing the flavor of the day.

I don’t write a post whenever some new program is launched, and I don’t solicit my blog subscribers with the latest and greatest income opportunities.

In fact I remain pretty redundant and write about the same programs ( for the most part ) that I use everyday. Ya know the ones that have been around for years.

The exceptions are few and far between.

Tonight is an exception!

Brian Rooney the owner of Traffic Wave and TOAN ( and a pretty fine bass player to boot ). Has just launched his own Paid to Click site.

I’m literally clicking the first set of ads as I write this so don’t ask me too many questions just yet. I’ll write more in a couple days.
