Multiple Streams of A.D.D
I got a message the other day asking me why I “join so many programs, and if each program is so great, then why don’t you just stick with one and make a lot of money”? I’m paraphrasing, because this message was sent as a SPAM comment and has since been deleted, so I forget exactly what was said. Yet, in all seriousness, this guy ( we’ll call him Captain Spammer ) brings up a very good point, and something I’ve been struggling with the last couple weeks. Focus
There are Soooo many amazing programs out there that it’s hard to stay focused on just a few. Hell, everyday I see and or read about something new and awesome that I can’t live without. Everyday I write down more great ideas for promoting and blog posts, and everyday I get further and further behind.
First let me share my to due list for RIGHT NOW ( for the last two weeks )…
I promised Carol Walczak that I’d write and publish a review on her super awesome EBook that she wrote, “Build Your List with Ease” … it really is a great guide that everyone should read a few times over. Unfortunately I haven’t gotten to the review yet I don’t consider the above a worthy review, she deserves more
The Great Eddy Solomon ( Hi Eddy ) at Work at Home No Scams, asked me to write a Traffic Exchange post for his site, and I still haven’t. I mean come on, this really should be my first priority!! This would get me so much exposure and yet.. well… you know..
Also, make a new splash page for NeoBux and “The Online Ad Network”. Interview Eddy Solomon, Brian Rooney the owner of Traffic Wave and “The Online Ad Network” ( <<< join join join ) and Franscisca the fantastic owner of the equally fantastic Hit2Hit.
Shall I go on with my to list? Okay, how ’bout totally needing to write my SUPER HUGE “Affiliate Funnel” post. I still need to get my Safelists updated, and promote the hell out of “Affiliate Funnel”… and speaking of Safelists….
Right now I should be getting ads up for “The Online Ad Network” on about twenty different lists. Although, I’m averaging one new member a day, I should be doing two or three new members a day for my downline ( since my first level is already filled ).
I could go on and on, but the reality is, is that all these people and programs deserve my individual attention and I apologize. The only excuse I have is, trying to multi-task when I know I suck at multi-tasking. Oh and checking my stats waaaaayyyy too much.
At the risk of having 101 referral links on this post, I’m going to stop now and put up some numbers. These are programs that I joined years ago and am still a member of. You can plainly see what I’m capable of when I focus ( word of the day ) my energy on just a few opportunities at a time.
“Treasure Trooper” treated me very very good back in the day. I promoted the hell out of this program when it first started. Then I discovered “Cash Crate”
and as you can see by the yellow high lit parts, when I “focused” my monthly checks were pretty decent. Oh and before that, or maybe right around the same time I was going crazy with what used to be GoZing and is now “Think Action” ( see below )
Okay, I gotta hit publish and get this post out to you guys. I had a lot more to say and share, and a lot more excuses to make but my “FOCUS” is now on my kids who have just woken from their naps.
Talk to you guys later..
Phil ( philsfault ) Ames

Phil,
I’m laughing over here because Dude I’m the same way. I have like tons of projects on my plate. I have guess posts from people I haven’t posted yet. I’m working on creating my own video affiliate marketing tutorial course. (You’ll be getting a beta copy to review. lol)
I have campaigns I’m testing on those gptc networks that need more of my attention.
I’m trying to work out more on my wii and spend more quality time with my daughter. lol I swore I would have more free time ever since I started working at home. But it hasn’t been the case.
I agree with you, there are just so many ways to make money online outside a job and you can’t help but want to try them all because you feel like you’re leaving money on the table. I also feel its part of my job to find more of these opportunities so we can expose them to our users.
So I totally relate with you. At the end of the day its about setting priorities. You know the whole 80/20 rule. Which basically means focus on the things that yield more value for your time. For example I was messing around with twitter for a while and still do. But I found the energy was better spent at my blog where I had an existing following and could offer quality content that isn’t limited to 140 characters. This always led to more money and interactions. So therefore I’ve cut back on my twitter time.
So you just need to narrow down your efforts to what yields the higher output. Don’t worry about the posts. If you would’ve given it to me already it would still be in my backlog of content I need to release. lol
But it will be released because I know it will help my users and you.
Keep up the good work as always. Its always a pleasure to read your stuff!
Wow, I’m totally with you on this one. My mantra is becoming Focus, Focus, Focus. I am currently trying to make lists and schedules to get organized. We’ll see . . .
Hey, but that’s pretty good that you at least have a list. :)
Good luck and take care!
Donna :)
Thanks guys, those were the fastest comments ever!! Glad to know I’m not the only one out there with “issues” ;).
Hey Phil, that made me laugh… multiple streams of A.D.D. + focus = the perfect solution! You focus on one thing at a time, 100 times a day! It’s almost multi-dimensional (or mental?). I enjoy it, anyhow! No boredom.
Thanks for the plug, yes I do want more, and please do put your referral link there because it’s worth it! (Build Your List with Ease will help build your AF downline too…).
