It’s Sunday and I have ten minutes to spare
Happy Sunday everyone!!
I can’t believe my family is still asleep and it’s almost 9 AM. I figure I’ll give ‘em ten more minutes and then I’ll go jump on the bed.
So what’s on the agenda for today?
For me. Yard Work!! Gym, Grocery shopping ( just a few more items ), beat the kids, fold laundry, try to get caught up on emails and comment reply’s, and watch some of the Giants vs Dodgers game before work.
So why was it important for me to type all those things out for you to read? I mean, do you really care about what I’m doing today? Most importantly, have you typed or written your schedule for the day yet?
Sure we can sit at the computer all day, focused on making our millions, but real life still exists and laundry still needs to be folded. So make a daily list. Ten Minutes for this, one hour for that, then you get to watch the ball game on tv as your reward, and you’ll feel relaxed and happy because you stuck to your list. Ahhh the feeling of accomplishment.
Focusing on establishing a daily online schedule ( work smarter, not harder ), is something I’ve been really working on lately and is something I’ll be writing a lot about.
Have a great Sunday everyone. Make it fun and make it productive.

HA.. there! Ten minutes to write this. Time to go jump on the bed and wake the kids up.
Oh and a quick update.
LinkGrand. Love it Love it Love it. Just upgraded for the year. Ten dollars well spent.
Paid the Fastest. Just joined this one a couple days ago. Really liking the PTC section ( although slow ) and the daily two cent ads. I’ll write more later when I cash out.

Well, Phil..!
I would (should) have a set schedule at my age :) But having kids is one thing :) When You have kids that have their own kids and find nothing better to do on a Sunday but call on Nana and Grandad un-announced, just because they know that we will be at home, One’s schedule goes right out the window!! Does not matter what we might have planned! Not even a phone call to make sure we are there, cause they know we are ALWAYS there!! Must change the schedule and completely confuse them!! LOL!
Kind Regards,
Catherine.
Hey there Phil-in-the-blank,
Glad you are going to be writing about scheduling. Outlook used to be my best friend, but I have become awful about using it recently. I have been trying to get myself back to using it lately, but to no avail. It will help to have posts to read to keep me motivated to make a schedule and stick to it.
One of my biggest problems with scheduling my days is I tend to add too much to my schedule. Being overloaded, I end up not sticking to it. Really though, right now my main problem is getting myself on a regular sleep schedule. If I could get myself to wake up at the same time each day (alarm clock; I know, I know), it would make things much easier. It would be easier to get up at the same time each day if I could get myself to go to bed at the same time each night; I get to working on something at night and don’t want to stop. I am more productive at night. If there were not things I like about the day and want/need to do during the day, I would sleep then and work at night. 24 hours of light and 24 hours of dark per day would be nice.
Scheduling, for me, is a must. Some people can live without one. I cannot. I am not the most self-disciplined terrestrial and so I need reminders of when to do something and when to stop. It is funny because, for me, the two hardest parts of working on something are starting and stopping. I never want to start working but when I do good luck pulling me away from whatever it might be. As a consequence to this “style” of working, I have a lot of pieces of projects which have been left forgotten, tossed to the winds of infinite incompletion.
Look forward to the posts.

Nice to see that you are so human !
@Catherine
As always, thanks for chiming in.
Granted life gets in the way of our best laid plans. Trust me, I know this all to well. Maybe I should change “schedule” to “to do list”. Still, you know what I’m talking about.
@thebananarepublican
Have I mentioned lately that you need to start your own blog. I don’t want to see a generic blog, something Word Press would be awesome.
I really want you to call it “Banana says What?”. Imagine the splash page possibilities!
Anyways,
Thanks for the comment as always.
I have something in the works that will put together everything I’ve been ranting about the last month, in one convenient and easy to use package. The schedule will be a simple 30 minutes minimum. I’ll be using you ( and a few others ) as testers, so be ready to schedule, or just add to your never ending “to do list”.
Now if I can just find the time to work on it ( DUH! ).
Thanks again
Phil
How does “The Team Philsfault Project” sound.
@Suzanne Swift
Thanks Suzanne. Yeah, it took me a few years to learn that it’s okay to be a person first and an affiliate link later.
Your little real life tidbits never cease to amuse me Phil :) I have to schedule everything too. Between my day job, real life, and on-line stuff, it’s easy to get frazzled, a to do list, or a schedule can really help you keep your focus and keep that happy balance between all your endeavors.
@Philsfault
ooooh, you have thebanana curious and excited:) testing is fun.
yes, blog. started. put aside. dusting time. i think i am going to use your title. it’s perfect for me. my head is a thousand places a day, so my blog ought to reflect it. i try to come up with “themes” but today it is apple stock i’m thinking about; tomorrow it is altering frequencies for novel, composition appropriate noises; then it is how dng is a must use for photographers; exegesis; Man Ray; prayer; midi; garden;………… Yes, I have a.d.d.
I like “Project” title. We could be simply called “Phlsfaulters.” But, “what is in a name,” eh?

oh, using a new email. I’ll just subscribe with it. it will be obvious it’s me.
@thebananarepublican
Great, can’t wait to see what you put together ( blog wise ). As far as my project. I decided on the tentative title “Project 99″. Since I often say, “It’ll be the 99th thing I can’t possibly get to today” or something to that effect. I’ll email you my thoughts ( # 100!! ) on Saturday.
