<a href="#comment-2422" rel="nofollow">@Tony T</a>
I have "No Scripts" installed on my 'puter. So I do block a lot of the content I run across in my daily activities online, including; some videos, and exit ads ( i hate exit ads! ).

Your right to a point. Text only splash pages load faster, but I think a lot has to do with who's hosting you pages. I also think the majority of the people get the pleasure of viewing whatever graphics or enhancements I put on my pages.

I'm honestly not even concerned about cheaters viewing or not viewing my advertising.

Thanks for chiming in Tony.. I'll look forward to your next post.

Here's a quick observation to support creating splash pages in general.

By using mostly text in a splash page it loads quicker. You also still get your message across to the cheaters who disable pictures from loading while they surf... Many default affiliate pages are loaded with pictures to make their point and some surfers won't see the message because of this.

Of course if they are cheaters you may not want them to join your program anyways. I don't know... Just a thought.

<a href="#comment-1855" rel="nofollow">@Adam Fandre</a>
Gee, I only have twenty thousand Splash Page Maker links in this post ..LOL. I hope they are showing up and opening a new page for you.

Thanks again. I absolutely love comments. Most of my followers prefer to send me emails instead of leaving a comment, which is okay, but it makes it more fun and educational when everyone posts here.

<a target="_blank"href="http://www.splashpagemaker.com/?rid=2675" rel="nofollow">Splash Page Maker</a> has two options. I pay the $15.95 for ten splash pages because I USE the service everyday. My first priority is actually not on the affiliate commissions I earn ( residual by the way ), but actually using <a target="_blank"href="http://www.splashpagemaker.com/?rid=2675" rel="nofollow">SPM</a> to promote and enhance my other programs. The second upgrade option only gives you three splash pages and has a monthly cost of $9.95. I highly encourage this option for those starting out. My commissions are less, but who cares. I'd rather you enjoy and benefit from SPM. So three pages is a great start.

Cash Crate ( and other Incentivized programs ). Here's a little marketing tip that worked for me a few months ago. When I wanted a Discover Card, I found an offer on Treasure Trooper that paid me $35. I placed an ad promoting Treasure Trooper saying "I got a Discover Card and made $35", or something like that. I forget exactly what I said in the ad, but it brought in quite a few refs and commissions. So just be honest. Advertising is pretty easy when you have something to talk about based on experience. If you didn't get to it yet, please read my post <a <a target="_blank"href="http://philsfault.com/blog1/incentivized-sites/using-incentivized-programs-responsibly/" rel="nofollow">Using Incentivized Programs Responsibly
</a>
As far as how long it takes to earn 3000 hits in traffic exchanges. It really all depends on whether your an upgraded member or not in a particular exchange. Upgraded members receive more value for their surfing. Generally, I give something I'm promoting a couple weeks. Since I surf a minimum of a couple hours a day and have about ten programs I'm promoting at once, it usually rounds to around 2000 - 3000 hits per in a couple weeks. Oh and make sure you watch out for and take advantage of bonus credits!! Especially if your a Free member of any exchange, they usually amount to double your credits.

Another great comment Adam, you give me a lot to talk about.

Wow, thank you very much for the wonderful reply! I am extremely eager to see yours results from your splash pages. Also, just out of curiosity, how long does it take to get 3000 hits to your splash pages to test the results?

Also thank you very much for the CashCrate advice. I will be sure to keep that in mind as I produce new splash pages. Who knows, I am thinking about trying out splashpagemaker so if you have a referral link for it or anything like that you should post it because I will be sure to sign up under you. But for now I am on the edge of choosing to pay for it or not.

So once again thanks for the wonderful reply and I will be checking in everday to see what new information you have for me. I can't wait.

<a href="#comment-1850" rel="nofollow">@Adam Fandre</a>
What an awesome and timely comment Adam!! Yes, Those are my top five T.E.s and in fact, are the only exchanges I'm upgraded in at the moment.

As far as why your comment is "timely". In my splash page post, Eddy ( WorkatHomeNoScams.Com ) pointed out that although this post was a breakthrough for me and a step in the right direction, it failed to show results. So that's what I'm working on at the moment.

1 - Surf the page I made in the tutorial for a minimum of 3000 views and show results.

2 - Tweak the page I made in the tutorial and surf it for another 3000 views and show results.

Success with Splash Pages ( and ALL advertising ) is about constantly tweaking and testing. If an ad doesn't work for me, or doesn't give me the results I was hoping for, then I try again with something new. I already know I'm promoting good programs, so that's half the battle.

Cash Crate is a fantastic program but because it's so popular it's a bit tough to promote. It doesn't mean you can't bring in new referrals everyday, it just means that your competing with hundreds of other Ref Seekers. My advice is to be as creative and honest as you can in your advertising. I've found that honesty helps with keeping people in a program. Placing an ad for "Cash Crate" saying "Make A Lot of Money Here" is good for some short term income, but you want your referrals to stick around for years, so being up front about what to expect and what to do might bring in fewer referrals, but in the long run they will stick around longer. Sad that it took me five years to realize this =P.

As far as the affordability of Splash Page Maker. I'm only paying $15.95 per month for ten splash pages. I think it's a great deal, especially since I use it everyday and I make that back every week with just my NeoBux and UWAD pages ( getting ready to scrap the UWAD page though, too much work and not a residual income ).

Thanks again. Look forward to the direction this blog is heading. I'm working on some great follow up posts this week.

Take Care

Wow, you have so much information. I have to say this is one of my favorite blogs that I have found in a long time! It is not often I find someone who likes promoting through traffic exchanges as much as I do.

But I have a few questions if you don't mind.

1) I know your top exchanges are
Traffic Splash
Royal Surf
Traffic Witch
Blue Surf
StartExchange
EasyHits4You

Are you a member at each of them? If not, which ones are you a member at? Also is it worth it?

2) As far as splash pages go, it splashpagemaker worth the money? It seems a little exspensive just for splash pages?

3) I have not had as much success as I would like for getting referrals for CashCrate. I am sure it is my splash pages, what do you find gives you the most success on splash page?

Thanks for reading my long comment, I really appreciate it!
