Easter Update.

I wanted to wish everyone a very happy and relaxing Easter. For those who don’t have children, you might just consider it another spring day.

Me, I have a four year old daughter and seven year old son. Although the thrill of searching for Easter eggs has lost it’s magic for me, my kids still enjoy the tradition and to them it’s just as exciting as Christmas. I’m still on the fence about the whole Easter Bunny myth and my latest attempt at trapping him has once again failed miserably ( next year buddy, I promise ).

Anyways….today I wanted to have a video up showing how to maximize our “paid to click” time by opening three or four windows at once and clicking away for twenty minutes. Actually the video was only going to be three minutes, but you get the idea. However, something is updating on my ‘puter and slowing things down every couple minutes, so you watching a video of me saying “.. as soon as it loads”, “crap”, and “la la la hmmm” would have been painful to both make as well as watch. So I’ll figure out what the hell is slowing my computer down and get a new video or two up between now and, oh, I don’t know, next Easter.

So I’m going to keep this post short today, Happy Easter, Have a safe Spring Break, blah blah blah.

Oh wait, now I remember why else I wanted to write today. I saw another ad this morning for a paid to read program offering $20 per email read. I forget the name of the site, but I believe the cash out was like $10,000 or something like that. Another ad that comes up every so often is one where I guy is opening a FedEx box stuffed full of money. Seriously!! As far as the getting paid $20 per email program, don’t bother. I can pretty much promise you that you’ll never get paid regardless of making payout. The FedEx box stuffed full of cash thingy… no thanks. I know nothing about “cash gifting” programs, but I’m pretty damn sure I’ll catch the Easter Bunny before I’ll ever think about mailing someone $600 in a box… I’m just saying. Am I alone on this?

Paid to Click / Read programs like “MatrixMails”, “AdPaid”, ClixSense and “donkeymails” have been thriving for many years and for good reason. So try to focus ( there’s that word again ) on what I was talking about in “my last post”, Consistently building your earnings daily, weekly and monthly. Concentrate mostly on the programs that have been around for years, and do your research before joining any program that seems to good to be true.

Until next time,

Phil ( philsfault ) Ames

Oh, one last thing. I decided to keep my “GDI” account. I really haven’t done anything in regards to promoting it this year and I really have no plans at the moment for any major ad campaigns. I just can’t find any good reason to cancel my account. I mean “GDI” has been around for what? Ten plus years? I’ve been paid a few times so it really couldn’t hurt to keep a referral link in a couple convenient locations. I’ll keep you posted ( eventually ).

I get so tired of those PTRs that promise ridiculous sums for opening an email. I mean come on, how in the world could it be possible for an email to be worth 5, 10, 20+ dollars? If anyone reading this actually knows an advertiser who will to pay a website to advertise the kind of money it would take to produce emails actually worth these crazy cash promises, let me know. I start a PTR. I will never start a PTR, dig?

Happy Easter back, Phil! Usually it is customary to reply to a holiday well-wishing by beginning said reply with the same. I was too “argh” to start that way. I needed to write it away.

Good post, chap. Definitely good to keep people alert to the scams. They be abound.

I think I am going to sign up at Donkey, and maybe AdPaid. Already use the others. So very very sorry(roll your tongue on the ‘r’s and hold the ‘o’ on ‘so’ for a second). I had always wondered about Donkey, but wasn’t sure. Since it gets the Philsfault stamp of approval, I will give it a go. Same for AdPaid. Thanks for making it known to me.

Too bad about your video issue, but often things go wrong at the proper time. You never know, eh?

    Outta words(Banana? Really?).

    @David Irvin

    Hey David,

Sorry for the delay in replying to your comment. I lost track of this one and I apologize.

Buxify, seems to be a decent site, so rock on with it. I didn’t spend much time looking it over, but I did some quick research and it appears legit. I’m not a big fan of sites that require you to upgrade in order to cash out, especially if it’s a profit sharing operation. Just seems like poor management to me. If I’m mistaken at all in my knowledge of buxify, please, feel free to correct me.

Your Blog looks a lot better than what my site looked like the first three years. I’d love to see your continued growth, personal unbiased posts. Stuff like that. Hell, get angry once in awhile. Have some fun and introduce the world to “you”. A person first, an affiliate link second. Just my opinion. I’m still learning, growing and improving daily.

Thanks so much for the comment. I removed your affiliate link for buxify, but kept your blog link in your avator. Gotta keep things in check, I hope you understand, and I hope you do the same with your blog. As you gain popularity, things will get a bit crazy.

    Take care

    Phil
