Creating a monthly ad budget with Treasure Trooper

May 13th, 2010 No comments

So as we move into Summer I wanted to really get you guys ( and gals ) moving in the right direction with your online earnings. I’m going to stay realistic here and I do apologize for not making you rich today. Most of you who follow me know my blog subtitle by now… “…when I’m rich I’ll let you know”

“This is Not a Race”. Being desperate and using credit cards is not a good mix. Spending Money you can not comfortably afford to lose is NEVER a good idea. Of course, our online earnings adventure moves along a whole hell of a lot faster when we have money for things like advertising, upgrades, and subscriptions to our favorite programs.

So lets build a bit of seed money ( working capital ).

I want to use the well established Treasure Trooper in this example. Yes, this is an example. There are tons of fantastic programs out today, you might have your favorite; Treasure Trooper is mine.

Treasure Trooper hit the scene in 2005 as the “Get Paid To / Incentivized” craze began really taking off. Since then, they have never missed a payment ( at least for me ) and have added several different opportunities for making money over the years. Throw in a very active and energetic forum and your good to go.

Lets start with a realistic half hour a day. This should be enough to produce a nice $40 – $50 a month PayPal payment. You can do more, you can do less. It’s entirely up to you.

Daily Surveys … There are several survey opportunities available every day. The first is a seventy five cent survey. I’ve done quite a few of these and I can honestly tell you that I’ve never spent more that thirty minutes per survey. So that’s a quick seventy five cents earned. It takes a couple days for your survey earnings to appear in your account balance, so don’t freak out when your not compensated immediately. Oh and if you don’t qualify for a particular survey you can keep trying until you do qualify.

Cash Clicks …. As of today there have been over twenty clicks to view a day. At five cents a pop, that’s $1.00 + a day. You can not cash out on “Cash Clicks” alone, so knocking out a few short surveys a week is a good option for making payout every month.

Update!!!…..Cash Clicks are back but in limited supply.. still good news and FREE Money

Completing Offers ( that your interested in )… I can’t tell you which offers to complete, but I can tell you that I rarely complete an offer that I’m not interested in. Still a great way to add some quick cash to your balance. When I wanted a Discover card I went through Treasure Trooper and made a quick $55 and when I switched to Direct TV that was a nice $180 incentive.

The Referral Program… Of course today’s post is titled “Creating a monthly ad budget with Treasure Trooper“. So reserve some of that not so hard earned “working capital” to pick up a few referrals for Treasure Trooper as well. You’ll get paid 20% first level and 5% second level referral earnings. Sorry, but we don’t get paid for our referrals “Cash Clicks” and “Surveys”.

So as you can see, it really isn’t that difficult to create a nice chunk of advertising money every month. This is just one example. We’ll talk about “converting earnings” and the such in future posts. **Hint** check out the additional established programs below.

The important part is that your using some or most of your earnings to create more earnings month after month by building down lines.

Hopefully your focusing on building down lines in not only Treasure Trooper but also other well established programs like ClixSense, LinkGrand, “MatrixMails”, WordLinx to name a few.

Wow, it’s 2 AM. Guess I should go to sleep so I can wake up in four hours.

Help me win a Swag Tee Shirt. Yes! I finally joined SwagBucks and I really want the official SwagBucks Tee Shirt. Actually I really want a lot of things, but the shirt is my first goal. Thanks Eddy for the great program, I’ve made it my homepage.

Paid the Fastest, gets a BIG thumbs up!

I threw out a little blurp at the end of last Sundays post about Paid the Fastest. I promised to write a bit more when I cashed out.

Just to prove that I am a man of my word ( although slightly behind in my promises )… lets get to my first couple weeks with “Paid the Fastest“. Actually a little less than two weeks.

Right off the bat, lets establish that I haven’t joined a new “Get Paid To / Incentivized” site in years. I’ve been perfectly happy with Treasure Trooper and Cash Crate. Since I’m not one to complete offers or sign up for stuff, unless I’m interested, I really wasn’t looking for anything new.

So what drew me to Paid the Fastest? Fist off, my buddy Bret ( coach ) insisted that I joined. I ignored him for a couple days and then took a look. Since I’m all for adding a bit of extra funds to my PayPal account and increasing my daily earnings, I was drawn to the “Daily Click Offers” that didn’t require me to enter my email, buy anything, sign up for anything and the such. Just a couple clicks and, bingo.. a few more cents added to my account balance. Oh and the instant ( and daily ) PayPal payments peaked my curiosity as well.

Of course, I wanted to test out the referral part and see what damage I could do. So I combined a couple cash outs from NeoBux ( $40 ) with converting my current ClixSense earnings ( $8 ), made this quick splash page, and got a couple ads up on ClixSense. Picked up around 60 referrals the first week, and then just reinvested back into a couple more ads on ClixSense every other day. I now stand at 113 referrals and about $3.00 more a day from referrals in less than two weeks.

My first payment took less than twenty hours as a “NV = Not Verified” member. Every payment after that has been instant! ….Awesome!~

Another really cool feature is “Spin the Wheel”. You earn points when you have active referrals. Four points when each referral completes there first offer. You then have the option of redeeming any points earned for Spins, Amazon or EBay Giftcards or Level upgrades. I’ve been choosing the “Spins”. We are allowed to spin the wheel five times a day and since I’m actively promoting, earning those points hasn’t been a problem. Just so you know, the average win is fifteen cents. At five spins a day I’ve been picking up an additional $0.60 to $1.25 a day.

I did complete a couple additional offers; Home depot newsletter and World winner ( because i wanted to waste some time playing Zombies vs Plants ). I pretty much suck at “Zombies vs Plants”, which is probably a good thing since I really don’t need to be playing games anyways. The Home Depot offer was an easy choice for me since I shop there and a couple extra emails in my inbox might actually be welcome. So, not a problem.

So in conclusion, Paid the Fastest is pretty darn swell. Just remember that this is a Get Paid To… site and most offers you complete for money gives another party free reign of your email inbox ( is it really SPAM if you asked for it? ). The “Daily Click Offers” are the exception, and I’m sure there are a few other exceptions as well. My recommendation and something I always encourage; Just stick with completing and joining offers and things that you are interested in. You do what you want ( I’ll enjoy the extra 20% commission ), but at the very least add a few more cents a day to your daily earnings via the “Daily Click Offers”.

A quick tip when using Get paid to and incentivized type sites. Make sure you clear out your cookies at least once a day or more. You only need to do this once with the “Daily Click Offers”, but you want to make it a habit of deleting cookies ( history and stuff ) between the other offers.

I’m going to promote the hell out of Paid the Fastest for awhile. Something about Daily Payouts gets me feeling all warm and mushy inside. The first thing I’m going to do is put together a better and more bad ass ( even more responsive ) capture page. Since I finished this post tonight ( 4/27 ), I’ll have the time to put it together tomorrow.

Did I say Good Night yet?

Good Night.

oops, almost forgot to give Eddy a plug. His article Is Home Job Placement a Scam?, is a must read. Oh and if you pay attention and read carefully, you’ll notice that Eddy is developing a bit of a sense of humor.

Treasure Trooper’s New Feature ( sorta new )

I’ve been a member of Treasure Trooper from probable the beginning. What was it, five years ago? I did a lot of promoting back then and built a hefty downline in a short amount of time and really haven’t done much with it since. Don’t get me wrong, it’s one of my favorite incentive based programs ( along side Cash Crate ), but I’m not one to complete offers just to fill my inbox with spam and my paypal account with monthly paychecks ( read my post Using Incentivized Programs Responsibly ). I keep the occasional referral link floating around and of course on this blog. If there is somewhere I want to shop or something I want to join, then usually I’ll take a look at what I can get paid for.

A bit over a month ago, Treasure Trooper introduced “Cash Clicks” to the equation. View an ad with no timer, earn five cents each. When they started this I was extremely skeptical. Not that they were going to not pay up, but rather I was concerned with the high value of each ad and the fact that there were around three dollars worth a day. Just seemed like they were being a bit too generous to me. One Cent would have made more sense, while still being generous.

Well, as the days passed the “Cash Clicks” were unavailable from time to time ( met their quota ), and then I’d only get a couple a day. Now, they seemed to have met a happy medium and throw a consistent seven or eight at us a day ( another 35 to 40 cents ). I still think they should lower the value to around one or two cents but, if it’s working for them, then cool, I’ll enjoy the extra money.

Since they were smart about it and made it so you couldn’t just cash out from “Clicks” alone, I’ve noticed a bit of a jump in my referral earnings as well as my second level. Very happy about that. It’s going to be nice to get back to that monthly check from a down line I built over five years ago.
